Vulcan has two self-serve plans: a free plan and Vulcan Pro. Enterprise options are available for teams and integrators. Current prices are shown on the join page.

- Results: metrics, graphs, and CSV exports
- SAP PDF and XML import and comparison
- Support chat for reporting issues
Vulcan Pro adds:
- Calculate: prepare and submit ECaaS compliance submissions
- Full scenario modelling across weather, fabric, and systems
- Projects and developments, including bulk actions
- Customise: theme and element naming settings
- SAP XML output and the in-browser SAP calculation
- Vulcan Analyst and the MCP helper
- Project support in the support chat
For team seats, embedding, or API integration, contact Vulcan through the join page.
Creating an account
You can start free with just your email address:
- Enter your email on usevulcan.app and select Start free.
- Open the sign-in link that Vulcan emails you.
- Complete the account setup form: name, company, job title, expected usage, and the software terms.
No payment card is needed for the free plan. The setup form must be completed before the app opens.
Upgrading to Vulcan Pro
Upgrade from the join page while signed in. The upgrade applies to your existing account and organisation, so you keep your models, workspace, and login. You will not receive a new password email.
After payment, the confirmation page shows your plan, organisation, and seats. From there you can launch Vulcan or open billing.
Seats
Vulcan Pro is priced per user. Your seats are listed in Profile > Billing, with paid and complimentary seats shown separately. To change who holds a seat, contact Vulcan.
Payment issues
If a subscription payment fails:
- Pro access continues for up to 30 days from the date payment was due, but not beyond an already scheduled subscription end date.
- Vulcan emails a secure link for updating payment details, and the app shows a payment warning.
- If payment is not resolved, the account returns to the free plan. Your account, organisation, and data are kept.
Vulcan Analyst and the MCP helper use a locally verified config file that stays valid for up to seven days, so they can keep working for up to seven days after a plan change.
For the full terms, see the Software Terms of Use.
